GracePointe Ministries is an inter-denominational, non-profit organization, providing and contributing to the provision of Biblical counseling. This is a "ministry received from the Lord Jesus to testify to the gospel of the Grace of God" (Acts 20:24). These services are offered through direct services and through strategic partnerships with other church and para-church ministries seeking also to share freedom and life In Christ.

 

"Counseling" at GracePointe is pastoral Discipleship counseling. We are not professional counselors

licensed by the State. We believe the gospel not only delivers believers from the ultimate penalty of sin (eternal separation from God), but also from every other damaging effect of sin. There is no one beyond the reach of the Wonderful Counselor who lives in us!

 

In addition to personal discipleship, GracePointe Ministries goes a step further  to take an active part in connecting children, youth, and their families to professional counselors and other ministry resources as is deemed necessary. Our primary goal is to connect each person with relevant Biblical counseling and ministry resources to meet them in their time of need.

 

All general contributions and contributions for counseling sessions go to the ministry. No one is turned away from counseling that is not able to donate. Staff members at GracePointe are missionaries who are supported primarily by personal donor support teams.

Training available through GracePointe Ministries

 

In addition to one-on-one discipleship counseling, GracePointe is also actively involved in making Discipleship Training available through direct services and through our strategic partnerships. We are also serve through consultation with churches and other organizations, speaking, writing, and teaching.

 

Life Coaching Ministries of GracePointe - One-on-one discipleship, mentoring and small group. The coaching process is based upon the truth that every Christian has the very nature of Christ that is described in Christ's own humble journey to the cross (Philippians 2:1-8).

God leads each person to see and then to humbly surrender any control he or she is still striving to use to fulfill their God-given needs for love and acceptance. Then, the person experiences the power of Christ's resurrection.

Foundation of GracePointe Ministries

 

The foundation of the ministry is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:11). The Bible is our inerrant guide as illuminated by the Holy Spirit. Our passion is to teach Christ, and not about Christ (Colossians 1:28). As a result, Christians learn of Christ Himself and are nurtured in a personal walk with Him.

 

The foundational message at GracePointe is the "message of the cross that is the power of God"

(1 Corinthians 1:18). "The cross" refers not only to the death of Christ, but to the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Christ…and to each Christian's personal identification with Christ and His cross.

 

It is through the finished work of Christ that a person can personally identify with the death of Christ (Romans 6:6) in order to be re-born a new creation in the resurrection of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). It is from this foundational good news that true healing and transformation occurs in a Christian.

 

For I have been crucified with Christ, for it is no longer I who lives but Christ that lives in me (Galatians2:20).
